That means that installation is a Snap, and you can use your existing PCs.

TYPICAL SETUP

Most of businesses use PC EYE with 8 Cameras.

It is also possible to add several Boards and grow up to 16 - 24 - 32 - etc...

Only a Laptop is necessary to install PC EYE!
It is quick and easy to install and you are ready in 5 minutes!
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
PC EYE PRO III is very easy to use. But many built in features make very sophisticated and efficient. Each part or event of the program can be linked to the next one. That makes the program very powerfull.
For instance when the motion is sensed then we want to:
  • Take a Picture
  • Play a sound file
  • And Turn on a relay

OFFSITE VIEWING
  • Easy viewing with Network or Telephone Line Access the Video Client Software will only send the moving parts of the images.
  • That means the bandwidth necessary for transmission is very reasonable and as well the refresh rate is incredible, It is like you were in front of the Camera.
 
 
You will be able to:
  • Choose individual cameras and look in real time what is happening
  • Print a frame you just saw
  • Or E-mail that same frame
  • Replay a previous session, (a snapshot is stored every 2 seconds on the local hard-drive)
  • Activate the relays
  • Download stored pictures
  • Administer the remote computer including rebooting

SEARCHING THE PICTURES
 
From the Main Screen, Just click on the Eye Icon, and select the Camera.

Then, Enter the date and Time of the Event.

TIME LAPSE RECORDING  
  This will allow you to take photographs per your pre-determined schedule.
User chooses time intervals, cameras, image size, etc.

ALARMS INPUTS

4 -8 Alarm Inputs are available with the systems.

Usually it is connected to a dry contact sensor suck as a door, an air hose or a wireless Clicker.

This function can trigger an alarm, light, or panic button take a picture...

RELAYS  
Once a camera has been triggered, you can setup your relays to:
  • Turn on a light
  • Open a Door,
  • Open a Gate
  • Set Off an Alarm
  • Make a phone call
  • Call your Beeper etc.

 
   
DIAL-UP NETWORKING  
  According to your programming, you can ask the computer to Dial-Up the Monitoring Station and automatically send:
  • Alarm Text
  • Series of Pictures
  • Video Stream

The other option would be that the Monitoring Station could call-in and check the Cameras and the recorded pictures.

CASH REGISTERS  
  • If your cash register has a RS 232 C connector, then we can interface it and overlay all the Operations with the pictures of what the cashier is really doing.
 
UDP/IP MESSAGING SYSTEM - NETWORK CAPABILITIES
   
With PC EYE you can easily monitor a large facility with several PC EYE systems spread around. You just need different IP addresses to be able to monitor from your desktop all the different areas of your company.

NETWORK SPECS:

Average Video Packet size: 500Bytes.

Packets per second: average 8-10 packets.

The software uses Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation which allows the system to dynamically alter its frame rate according to the current bandwidth available.

You can also limit the amount of bandwidth used for the system.

VOICE CALLS  
  The System can automatically call you on your Cell Phone if there is an intruder on the premises.

(You just need to prerecord a message with your PC!)

VIDEO OUTPUT  

Sequenced Video Output
You can select individually which camera you will see on the Video Output of the Boards.

That allows you to plug back Up VCRs or just regular monitors and enjoy a Live Video of the Premises.

Automatic Switchable Video Output

On the Q8, you have one video output that is sequenced and can be programmed for each camera.

The three other Video Output can be switched on automatically when an event occurs motion, alarm, etc... Or can be fixed on a specific video input.

SECURITY WATCH
 
The Computer will ask the Guard to acknowledge a requester after a certain period.
